If your transmission is not going into gear, you have a transmission or clutch problem. You will probably need to be towed to Dr. Trans Service where the transmission and or clutch will need to be examined for the cause.

If your vehicle can still be driven and you do not want it to be towed, go directly to Dr. Trans Service for a Dr. Trans Check-Up.

When a transmission will not go into gear, various components of the transmission or clutch system may not be functioning properly.

The problem may be one of many possibilities, such as an external control needing adjustment or replacement. This is considered to be a minor repair.

Before damage becomes worse and to avoid being left with a vehicle that won't operate and is not safe, see Dr. Trans for Check-Up.

Or fill out our exclusive on-line "Trouble Shooter Page" and a Dr. Trans professional will evaluate your clutch / Manual Transmission problem for you.
